About Our Speaker

Mike Connon, Carlo Cansino and two special guest speakers Melanie D'Aloisio and Tara Collings from R.S Kane Funeral Home will discuss how these issues effect Canadians and present simple solutions on how to make wiser decisions.

Born in Kingston, Ontario Melanie was raised on her family's dairy farm. Her first insight to the funeral industry came from a high school co-op placement at a local funeral home. This experience motivated her to pursue funeral service as a career. Over the past 10 years Melanie has specialized in helping families preplan their memorial wishes. It has often been said that her warm and compassionate personality makes everyone feel like they're talking to a family member. In her free time you can find Melanie on the golf course with her husband or spending time with her young family and friends.
