We invite you to join us for our upcoming complimentary workshop we call the “Lunch & Learn” series. Each month we will be introducing new and interesting topics. Invest just 60 minutes and it could save you and your family thousands of tax dollars…

This event took place at the Thornhill Golf & Country Club on Monday, February 23rd between 12:00 and 1:30pm.

Due to the overwhelming response from his presentation last year, we are proud to welcome back Paul McVean.

Preparing your taxes right. When it comes to preparing your taxes there are a lot of do-it-yourselfers and those who have it done by professionals. Either way, educating yourself can cut down on time, anxiety and perhaps prevent you from tax mistakes that can be costly.

You will learn:

  • Minimizing taxation of investment income
  • Tips and traps of income splitting within a family
  • How to fund retirement tax efficiently
  • Vacation properties – claiming the principal residence exemption
  • Tips for those who are self-employed

Join us, and ask the questions you want to know.

These are just some of the serious concerns facing Canadians. Mike Connon, Carlo Cansino and guest speaker Paul McVean will discuss how these issues affect Canadians and present simple solutions on how to make wiser decisions.
