1. CHILE
Chile is located along the west coast belly of South America amid the beautiful mountains, blue oceans and arid deserts. You will never be bored here after exploring the rainforests, shopping the city or viewing the active volcanoes. There is something for every type of traveller here in Chile.
2.SOUTH KOREA
This year might be your year to travel to South Korea as the 2018 Winter Olympics are being hosted here in the city of Pyeongchang. Outside of the Winter Olympics there is much more to see including South Korea’s capital, Seoul, with the soaring high-rises and its innovative style. You can experience their beautiful culture all while soaking in the gardens, museums, landscapes and coasts.

Small but mighty is what you can call the beautiful nation of Djibouti located in Africa. New Zealand is a certainly a destination on my bucket list to experience. If you are an adventure-seeker like myself, you’ll want to hike the trails to explore the mind-blowing topography. The west coast of New Zealand’s South Island hosts Milford Sound which is one of the most beautiful fjord’s in the world (seen in the above picture). Outside of the mountains and lakes, you can also experience adventure in New Zealand’s Queenstown including bungee jumping, jet-boating and alpine heliskiing.

Malta is another island country that you should visit in 2018 specifically as it’s capital, Valetta, is the European Capital of Culture for 2018. During this time you can expect baroque, pop and international film festivals and a contemporary art biennial. You will also be able to experience Malta’s beautiful weather with over 300 annual days of sunshine.
7. GEORGIA
If you are a wine connoisseur, Georgia is the country for you as they claim to be the birthplace of wine. Located in Europe, their beautiful green valleys are spread with vineyards and old churches. Georgia is also a country of history, so grab your wine and come along for a tour.
8. MAURITIUS
Instead of heading to another Caribbean all-inclusive resort, book your stay on the beautiful island of Mauritius. Located in Africa, Mauritius is said to be “made first and then heaven, heaven being copied after Mauritius” according to Mark Twain. It is known for its luxurious beach resorts and sapphire seas where you can do all the same activities as those Caribbean all-inclusive’s but more!

China is the world’s most populous country. With that name, it must provide travellers with BIG experiences and it does just that. Especially known for its innovation, you can experience all of China with the world’s largest high-speed rail track taking you from the Forbidden City to hiking the Gorge to The Great Wall.
10. SOUTH AFRICA
2018 is the year for South Africa! The legendary leader, Nelson Mandela, will be honoured this year with an official programme of events called “Nelson Mandela Centenary 2018: Be the Legacy”.
